Commercial Artificial Turf Installation
HOA common areas, corporate campuses, hospitality properties, municipal parks and sport facilities across Utah and Tampa Bay. American-made turf specified for the traffic level your property actually gets, not a residential product stretched past its job.
Commercial Applications We Build For
Five property types make up most of our commercial work, and each has a different traffic pattern and decision process.
HOA & Property Management Common Areas
Shared green space, entryways, and clubhouse grounds see combined traffic from every resident, on top of a board that wants a predictable landscaping line item instead of a variable water bill. We work directly with boards and management companies.
Corporate Campuses & Office Parks
Consistent, year-round curb appeal without a landscaping crew cycling through the property weekly. A campus entrance or courtyard holds its look through every season without irrigation scheduling around office hours.
Hospitality: Hotels, Resorts & Restaurants
Courtyards, pool decks, and outdoor dining areas that need to look presentable every single day a guest walks through, not just after a maintenance visit. Coastal Blend's heat-managed build fits patio and pool-adjacent space specifically.
Municipal Parks & Public Spaces
Public green space takes more combined foot traffic than any private property, with a maintenance budget that has to stretch across the whole parks system, not just one lawn.
Sport & Recreation Facilities
Practice fields, batting cages, and multi-use rec spaces where the surface has to survive cleats and repeated impact on a training schedule, not casual foot traffic. See our Sport Fields page for the full build.
What Changes at Commercial Scale
Heavier Face Weight, Specified for Traffic
Wave Blade's 92 ounce face weight is our heaviest construction, built specifically for the combined traffic a shared or public space sees. We spec by actual use, not by defaulting to one blade for every job.
Ongoing Maintenance, Not a One-Time Install
High-traffic commercial turf benefits from periodic professional grooming the same way a residential lawn does, just on a schedule matched to actual use. Our Turf NU service handles commercial-grade brushing and refresh visits.
A Real Site Visit, Not a Phone Quote
Commercial pricing depends on scale, site access, and existing base conditions in a way a residential quote does not. We walk the property before we give you a number.
What a Commercial Project Costs
Residential turf starts at $8.50 per square foot installed. A commercial project's number depends on total scale, site conditions, and which blade the traffic level requires, and large-scale work typically sees per-square-foot efficiencies a small job does not. We do not publish a single commercial rate because doing so would mean either lowballing a complex site or overquoting a simple one. A site visit gets you a real number.
Frequently Asked Questions
Traffic volume and consistency requirements, mostly. A shared HOA common area, a hotel courtyard, or a corporate campus sees combined foot traffic from far more people than any single homeowner's yard, on a schedule that never really stops. We spec heavier face weights like Wave Blade for those areas, and Pro Blade specifically where the surface needs to handle repeated impact rather than just walking traffic.
Yes, this is one of our most common commercial applications. A shared green space or entryway sees more combined use than any resident's private yard, and HOA boards often want predictable landscaping costs rather than a variable water and maintenance bill. We work directly with property managers and boards, and can prepare drawings for architectural review submissions.
Residential pricing starts at $8.50 per square foot, but a commercial project's total depends heavily on scale, site access, base conditions, and which blade the traffic level calls for. Large-scale work typically sees per-square-foot efficiencies a small residential job does not. We give a real number after a site visit, not a generic quote, because guessing at a commercial number without seeing the site does a disservice to both sides.
Not the same way. Florida's 2025 synthetic turf law (Fla. Stat. 125.572) specifically covers single-family residential properties of one acre or less, and prevents cities and counties from banning compliant turf on those lots. It does not extend the same state-level protection to commercial, multifamily, or larger properties, so local code still governs a commercial Tampa Bay installation. We check the specific jurisdiction before quoting any commercial project.
